Fashion Friday+Reminisce Photography: Engagement Shoot/Wedding Guest/Dinner Outfit Idea

Some people find it difficult to style themselves when it comes to an elaborate event like weddings or photo shoot such as, engagement etc.
No worries, sometimes it is hard to pull off such styling details because of its technicality. Yes, I said, technicality. Styling involves mental, physical, and technical know-how. From picking up the outfit which deals with the mental state of mind. To carrying the outfit to its destination which involves physical muscles for carriage. Finally, putting together the entire package like knowing the right shoes, jewelries, makeup, and hair to go with it which is the technical aspect of it that determine the end product of the entire look.
There you have it, a little tip about styling.
Today's outfit is solely an idea for an engagement shoot or as a wedding guest.
In any of these events, it is essential to look your best and glamorous because sometimes, this events are once in a life time deal especially an engagement shoot.

This dress I got from New York dress online and it was bought specifically for a pageant I did 2 years ago. Since then, it's been in my closest. Decided to fetch it out for today's Fashion Friday.

When I got this dress, it was plain as a slate. Thought to myself, how can I make it elegant and eye catching?
Quickly, a thought of bling flashed my mind.
The next day, I went to the store, bought some rhinestone and headed to a designer who helped in installing every pieces.

As you can see, it turned out great and exquisite.
For this look, you don't need too many jewelry. Reasoning being that, you don't want to take the attention off it.
Since its a turtleneck dress, a neck piece isn't needed.
Paired with a silver dangling pairs of earrings. You sort of need that length especially if you're rocking a short cut Natural hair like my.
For the shoes,  you have to go with a small heeled shoe like 2 to 3 inch. Because, we want that flare of the dress to be paramount because in it lies the beauty of it all.
On my feet is a black and blue shot I got from Kohl's a year ago. In the color wheel, all three colors go perfectly well together.
Thanks to Reminisce Photography for an amazing job with the photos.
Special thanks to the Westin Hotel in Dallas for allowing me to use their restaurant for this shoot.
Lastly, thanks to my friend Sartaj and Nonso for their assistance.
