FASHION FRIDAY: Covered in Olives

Hello Queens and Gents,

Fashion Friday here again and that means a new style and swag.
Yea, it's Olive Green Again... lol...
Lately, I have been in love with the color Olive and as you can see, it looks great on me(insert smile).
I can officially say, I am in love with Olives.
Decided to switch up my location today real quick. lol
Went scouting for location in downtown Oklahoma City and Brick-town found me. lol.
Brick-town, Oklahoma, is one of Oklahoma's city tourist friendly place and packed with a lot of fun things to do.
Today, I went with a rather tight and fitted dress. Right now, it's all about showing off curves when necessary. Like the saying goes, "if you got it flaunt it" and most importantly embrace your flaws.
Pairing this C-Cut back olive dress which I got from Go Jane and Nude sandals heels also from Go Jane was something I enjoyed doing.
I am bra-less because the beauty of the dress is seen without one.
Lucky for you ladies, the dress, shoe, and glasses are on sale right now on the various sites for cheap.

Let me get your Feedback on this look. It would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great weekend love and watch out for next week's style pick.

Fashion Friday : Summer Color Burst

Holla Ladies... Como estas? Lol... All that means is, hi ladies, how are you? Just trying to master my Spanish.
Summer breathes color... so that's why I pretty much look like rainbow today. Lol
It's a color spree with this look.
Putting this look together was so much easier because I did have an idea of what I wanted and how I wanted it to look like.
Playing with colors sometimes can be fun and summer makes it even better to make it happen.

This is specifically for an outdoor and a beach kinda day without the heels look.

This light blue short paired with a yellow tank top is just a perfect marriage of colors. Decided to go with a colorful hand made stone neck piece that blends with both colors. For the earrings, I decided to go all round and big because of the big curly hair and also, to show off my face. Since this look is based on colors it was only right to make my shoes reflect the occasion. For the bag, the beauty of it is that, it is knitted to perfection and it can house a lot of stuff. And ofcourse, the glasses is to die for, I could get away with its rounded shape because I got a small face. But yeah, the color matches the lipstick.

When styling such look, consistency is key. That is, if you started with flamboyant colored top and bottom, it is advised you continue the trend with your jewelries, purse,  and shoes.

FASHION FRIDAY: The Corporate Chick

Fridays are one of the best days of the week not only because it's the end of the week but because it's Fashion Friday and new styles are up for grabs for free. lol

Today's style is for the corporate fly chicks in the game. You can still be a workaholic but still look chick and fly at the same time.

With no further ado, let's hop into today's style...
So, green isn't my color but I decided to take the color risk and hope you guys don't think I am looking like a circus clown. lol

This green flapping ear dress I got during my Pageant days for the interview part of  Miss Texas U.S.A and yes, I contested in a pageant. lol...
Paired with a 2 inch black heel for comfort in a working environment. Also, a black belt that came with the dress to give the waist line some definition for that classy but chick look. Decided to go with a colorful purse because it goes with pretty much every color you can think of. This purse is a year or two old but I can't just let it go because it's just too pretty. lol
And guess what? This look is just way under $150. Looking like a boss doesn't have to be expensive.

Let me know what you guys think of today's look and color on me. :)
