FASHION FRIDAY: Flushed in Colors

Happy Friday guys....
It's another edition of Fashion Friday.

Today, it's all about colors and glow.

This look is characterized by an outburst of color. With the start of summer comes bright colors.

This look is created for that outdoor summer wedding, and with that comes radiance and sparkles. But an indoor wedding would be just fine with this look.

Never really been a fan of bright colors not to talk of bright pink but certain situations calls for critical measures. In this case, it's a bright colored dress for that friend's or family wedding.

This lacey pink dress is paired with a silver bow tie shoe which I am so in love with by the way, clip on pearl earrings, and a rounded eye glasses to hide your emotional eyes from being seen. Lol..

Not too much but you get that classy, elegant, and fierce look.

The beauty of this look is that, it is way under $100 which is pretty affordable excluding the watch, though. lol

Fashion Friday: Fine like Red Wine

Wine they say is good but Red Wine boost the heart to a good pump.

Today's Fashion pick is for the Red Wine lovers which is the grown and sexy folks.

Hmmm.... can't remember the day I bought this dress. I am the kind of person that buys and keeps. Call me a mini clean hoarder. Lol

Just started drinking Red wine lately and it takes really good. Then, I thought to my self, why not channel the red wine energy into a fashion look and whala, this look came about. Lol

This Wine dress is paired with a gold and black belt which came with it. Along side, a black high pump to give it that edgy but sophisticated look and also, wine red choker to seal the deal

This look can be wore for a night out or a date night.

FASHION FRIDAY: Reign Supreme in Olives

Guess what day it is???

FASHION FRIDAY!!!

How was your week loves? My was long and hectic but yay, THANK GOD IS FRIDAY...lol

Super excited for today not only because its Fashion Friday but also because one of Nigerian's best artist is performing today in my city.

But hey, lets jump into today's look which is all about the olives.#Smiles

Today, I decided to go with the color olive green for the first time and I think, I have fallen deep for it.lol

Today, I decided to do a simple but stylist, sexy, and smart look. A look so perfect for the summer weather especially if you live in Texas, my peeps from there knows.
You can wear this look during the day for errands or at night to the club that's the best part of this look.

Decided to pair this tight jumpsuit which I got from Papaya( Dude, this store has become my second home.lol). Don't blame me, they got fine things for cheap. Anyway, paired it with my nude/black/white pump shoe from JustFab.com. One thing for sure, you can never go wrong with paring a nude shoe with any other color.

Not much of an accessory person but was able to pair this look with a silver dog chain necklace, eye glass, rings, and my go to wristwatch from Micheal Kors.

Fashion Friday is a new project I just took on. With this series, I intend to bring you the best of (my) style every Friday. Stay tuned and visit back here every Friday for a new scoop.

Today's style was characterized by my love for black. This look is for a late night out with the girls or your boo (lol) or a casual outing of any sort by day.

Paired with a laced up nude heels and a beaded neck piece. You can accessorize your own way.

Second look was paired with a white sneakers, glasses, and a Baseball hat which is suitable as a street wear.

The most daring part of this dress is the side which I fell in love with, it was a love at first sight kind of deal. Lol

Food: Fried Sweet Potatoes and Fried Beef Stew Egg

Fried sweet potatoes and fried beef stew egg
   Instagram is done

Food Food Food!!!
My love for food is endless no matter how it is made, where it is made, or what culture it belongs to. The word food mesmerizes and fills me before it is actually made or eaten.

This dish is very easy to cook and it's less time consuming. Because of its simplicity in nature I call it Whip and Go. lol... That is how easy it is to cook. It is sweet and at the same time spicy due to the eggs and what I used in frying it.

Sweet because I prefer sweet potatoes to Irish potatoes. I did pick sweet every day because sweet makes me happy and in turn affects my mood.

On the other hand, I love extra spicy food because it allows me eat without having to pique.

Due to the spicy nature of my food, my friends nicknamed me Spicy Drop…lol… Not sure if I should be thrilled by the name but I giggle when am being called because it reflects my kind of person

All in all, my food at a particular time of the day reflects my mood. The lunch I had today was quick and easy. That was how my day exactly went…easy breezy. Lol

Note: This blog post is for a class assignment.

  Reason Behind this Assignment

Writing this assignment was a no brainer for me because it is what I do each and every day which is cooking.
As a young lady, growing up in a traditional African home, I was taught by my mom to always be the one responsible for my own meals. According to her, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can cook and keep her home in order. Knowing that gave me the reason to always want to cook and be better at it, at any given opportunity I get.
This assignment is so important to me because nowadays, you find young ladies who can’t boil rice not to talk of making a decent meal not only for themselves but for their significant other or friend as the case maybe. In my opinion, it is so sad and depressing because such girls’ windup becoming wives and moms who can’t cook homemade meals but rely on takeout food for a decent family dinner.
I feel as a young lady, cooking should be a know-how not a choice and there’s no excuse justifiable not knowing how to cook even as a working mother. They say, the way to a man’s heart is his stomach and so, a woman who can’t cook therefore loses a part of his man’s heart.
