Hello Girlfriends,
Today, we are flashing it back to almost a year ago with my birthday shoot which I collaborated with one of the best photographers in Dallas, Texas.
Last year, I decided to imbibe a tradition for my birthday because I thought to myself, if not for anything I should be able to mark my birthday with a picture of me as a reminder of my growth yearly.
So, I have decided to take y'all back in time to August 28, 2015.
While styling myself for this look, I kept in mind that I wanted something free and comfy due to the fact it was a hot hot day.
Like they always say, you can never go wrong with Black and White but of course accessorizing must be done right.
The black short which I got from Forever 21 I guess, yeah, I guess because it's been a year plus since I got it. Lol
Paired with a transparent lacy white crop top also gotten from Forever 21. It is essential what follows on your feet which means a simple pointed toe stiletto heels would be just fine, that's why I decided to go with this 4 inch nude, white, and black stiletto from Justfab.
On jewelry, it is advised you go minimal because not to divergen from whole entire look. Although, it looks heavy with the look but as you can see its more or less the only jewelry I got on. Those are interwoven hand crafted little beads gotten from Sam Moon.
This shoot was fun as you can see in my expressions on all single pictures it was done at a lake in Dallas chosen by the photographer, Joe Pool, also known as Jprice photography.
