Our attractions for one another are driven by various instances such as, charms, beauty, intelligence, charisma, religion, and other types of trait.
There was these two, who lived across states from each other never knowing they could become one someday. Frank and Fiona were from two different world and generation, which had never crossed paths. They both had different taste, style, but they shared a common passion.
It all started with a like and a mere attraction, both talked for hours unending with little but something to keep them longing for one another. Months passed and these two had no clue of what they looked like except for visuals in form of film. Those memories, they treasured when ever they had their nightly conversation. Frank, always showered her with sweet names like, baby, honey, boo, and traditional romantic names, which made her head swell and that brought a big smile to her triangular shaped faced. In return, Fiona loved the way it sounded not because they were romantic names but because it came from him with a tone of sincerity. More months passed by and they did never seen each other but the attraction grew along sound waves that was transmitted from one end to another. At this time, she was convinced that there was a stronger attraction that's too hard for her to comprehend. After talking for months, they finally set a date to meet face to face and that was the best thing she had heard and she grinned all day basking in glee.
It was that fateful day, they planned to meet as she journeyed across states and rivers in anticipation to be finally held in his arms with soft embrace. When she arrived, it was night time and he was off to work to return later that night. She sat there as the clock tick tick and as the night grew darker and quieter. It was almost midnight and it was close to his arrival and her anxiety heightened. Finally, he walked through the door and suddenly, she felt the urge to hide under the couch because she became shy. At this point, being shy wasn't an option as she sprung to her feet and they both gave a big embrace that lasted for a minute, but the embrace was broken as they both locked their lips in soft kisses. It truly felt magical for her as she stared into his semi-big eyes in admiration and much love. At this point, she was convinced, she found her missing rib and wasn't ready to let go for a minute.
The night approached fast like a whirl wind upon them, as they both unwind
for a minute gazing at each other speechless and in adoration... It was time for bed as he lifted her in his strong arms in vigor and strength looking straight into her eyes. She felt his muscles and was proud of the man she has come to know. Then, that night, something happened and they both loved it even though it felt painful. For her, it was a painful sweet pleasure in her heart.
The night crawled so fast and it was a bright cold morning as she crawled under his arm and he responded with a cuddle as he stroked her hair alongside a smooch.
It was already day two of her vacation and it was fast approaching to end but they did never had the conversation. You know, the conversation that puts a status on a relationship because she wasn't sure as they never discussed it over the phone but all along, she called him boyfriend in her heart and she felt good feeling that way.
On the eve of her departure back to Chicago, he sat her down for the talk. Her heart began to pound like a beating drum. She was ready to take whatever he had to say like a grain of salt and move on with her life even though the past few days felt so real. Then, he took a deep breath and spoke, "Babe, I know you've felt we're in a relationship but to me, I do not feel that way. I consider what we have so far as great and can say I truly like you and hence, your presence in my house. I wouldn't want you leaving with the notion of a relationship when in fact, I do not consider it yet. Any relationship, I intend having now, its going to lead to marriage as I am not getting younger myself. Like I said, I really like you. You are beautiful, smart, intelligent, homely, and everything I want in a woman but please, lets take it slow and play it by ears." As those words, hit her ears, she felt so uneasy with herself and felt a ton of betrayal brewing in her heart as she summoned the courage to say a few words. I am so glad, you said it and I am proud of your honesty but all this wasn't what I excepted but it is what it is. Being forced won't be a great idea neither would it be sincere.
That morning, they had deeper conversation like never before and conceived secrets was shared by both parties. Later that day, he went to work and she sat all day thinking about their earlier conversation as she focused on the positive side of the conversation, which was honesty.
Finally, it was time for her to leave and it was on a Sunday. They both woke up that morning feeling happy as they prepared for church.Church was over and it was time to catch her flight. As he drove her to the airport, she played him a song that soothes her and gave her a yearn for him. He loved it and looked at her in a way that seemed rather more of compassion and love. At this point, feelings ran strong for the both of them as it dawned on them that the little touchy romance was coming to an end rather swiftly than fast. They got to the airport and she was at the verge of tears but she held them back as she reminisce on the last four days spent with him in closed doors and the memory of him whispering sweet words to her ears with a soft bite on her ear lobe. Now, it was time for her to go catch her flight, she leaned forward and hugged him as he again pressed his lips on hers to kiss her goodbye until they see again. It happened so quick and he was gone like as the wind washes away the sand.
The romance was ended and it was time to face reality and hoped for the best with their present status of getting to know more about each other, which isn't promising but worth the wait.
