This is how I feel, when it's almost February 14. You'll know why... lol

Anyway, it's almost that time of the year again for an exceptional expression of love shown by couples all over the globe. Some of us don't know the true meaning of Valentine.

Therefore, I am going to give a surface history of Valentine.The day of romance we call Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5^th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia.

You'll know, when it comes to Valentine, spouse expect to be showered upon with gifts and love. Today, I am going to share with you some gifts ideas for your spouse. First, we are going to start with the gifts ideas for a female spouse.

As females, we want to be pampered and deluge with gifts each and every day especially on Valentine's day. So, the men are faced with pressure on what to get for their ladies. As a guy, stress no more the valentine gift genie is here. Lol

Below are some gifts options:
1. You can start by getting her fine scented red roses and a lovely card expressing your love for her.
2. A box of chocolates. Almost every lady love chocolates.
3. Teddy bear. My favorite as a lady. Smiles. Some ladies love a little or big teddy bear they can hold or cuddle with when their man isn't there. Lol
4. A box of perfume. In getting this one, you have to know the one she uses or like before getting her one.
5. A stiletto heel shoe preferably red bottoms, if you can afford it.lol...If not, a fine befitting shoe will do for the lady.
6. Ladies, love clothes.  So, you could buy her a brand new cocktail or party dress.
7. Lastly, you could book a reservation for the both of you at an exotic restaurant, if you're up to it or you could make her a nice dinner at your place.

Surprise Her

While for the men in our lives, thank goodness they are simple to please unlike we ladies. Lol
You can get a man a simple cufflinks and he would be appreciative of the fact you got him something but that not withstanding, your man should be equally spoiled on Valentine's day like you.

1. A pair of shoe. Men love their foot wear and hence, a new pair of shoe isn't a bad idea to start your gift list for him.
2. Cologne. A well groomed man love to smell good and charming. So, getting him one of his favorite cologne would be super nice.
3. Underwear like boxers, singlets or tanks, and inner white T ' s. You need to make sure your man have abundance of those in his closet because they hate doing laundry. Lol
4. For the guys that love dressing like gentlemen with suits and ties, you can get them ties and socks.
5. Lastly, you can also make a reservation at an exotic restaurant or make some homemade dinner. Men love those especially when the way to a man's heart is his stomach. Lol

Those are just some gifts ideas to get for your spouse or do this valentine's day.

Blogger's World: A Brief Summary of My Previous Week.

Hello loves,

Today, I will let you all into by world by telling you how my week went.

So, this pasted week was my first week at the University of North Texas as a transfer student from my local community college in Dallas.

I am a Journalism Major with concentration in Broadcasting. I intend to be an entertainment reporter because I enjoy and love the entertainment industry, which I know I am going to be great at.

With this Spring semester being my first at UNT, I decided to take two classes, which is six credit hours, thereby not overwhelming myself and also, getting use to the system before taking a full time course load.

Hmmm..., let's get in details into my week... It was more of an exciting week rather than of exhaustion. Before transferring over to UNT, I thought I was going to be in for a big surprise and stressful first week because it is a much bigger school with twice or thrice the crowd of my previous community college. Thankfully, the reverse was the case as I sway into my first two classes as early as possible feeling determined and ready to kick ass. lol

So far, my professors have been great and the course work seems pretty reasonable and not tasking as I expected it to be. In terms of making friends, I have made a couple and I hope to make more reasonable ones as the semester progresses.
 
Anyway, that is that about my past week. One of fulfillment and determination. Hope each week continues to be rewarding and exciting as this one.

Fashion: Winter Wear on a Semi Hot Day.

Hello guys,

Decided to let you guys in, into my fashion world and sense. So, Friday, I put together an outfit to school since it was a little warm, and I totally fell in love with the look starting from the hat head on my head to the boot in my feet.
Recently, I have become a lover of hats and I kid you not, I am totally having hat addiction, which I need help on. lol
Another recent addiction I have been sucked into is boots. Oh my... I love them cute looking boots to the extent I could give out my heels in exchange for a pair of boot. Yeap, that bad. lol

So, I decided to pair up this wine looking jean with a black turtle neck sleeveless top, black hat, brown shades, and black-wine boot. I really love this look because it makes me looks tough and tomboyish. Couldn't get by this look without my dark brown lipstick, which I think is almost 10 years old but I still love it though.

Amber Rose to Host D'banj's 10 Year Anniversary in Lagos, Nigeria.

It is official that Amber Rose would be hosting the kick off party for Dbanj's 10 year anniversary on January 31st, 2015 at the Ocean View Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. This would be the second time Amber will be in Nigeria since her first visit in 2013.

D'banj, whose real name is Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo but popularly known as the koko master has made great name for himself over the years after splitting with his former label Marvin Records, which was formally known as Mo hit's record.

He has won several awards both locally and internationally including the award for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Best International Act: African at the BET Awards 2011, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards. Taylor Swift Flaunts Her Bikini Body In Maui: Shows Off Belly Button.

I guess someone is finally coming out of her shell. The 25 years old country singer who sworn never to show off her belly button, finally did in a two piece bikini. Taylor Swift who is out in Maui with the band Haim and sisters in some kind of getaway, while whale watching flaunt her fit body physique on her instagram page yesterday.

To many, it is not much of a big deal but to Swift, it is indeed big..

When she was interviewed by Lucky magazine in the past in regards to her choice of bikini wear, which was some form of high-waisted or a one-piece bikini.... She said,

"I don't like showing my belly button. I want that to be a mystery. As far as anyone knows based on my public appearances, they haven't seen evidence of a belly button. It could be pierced, they have no idea. If I am going to get some sort of massive tattoo, it's going to be right next to my belly button because no one is ever gonna see that."

Apparently, it looks like someone got a change of heart. As you can see, her belly button is pierce free and clean as a slate with little or no tattoos.

Anyway, belly button shown or no belly button shown, you all gonna agree that Taylor and are crew are looking smashing hot.

Vblog: Simple Daily Facial Routine For A Smoother and Refined Skin.

We sometimes forget that our faces are one of the most delicate and sensitive part of our bodies and hence, it needs to be exceptionally cared for and nurtured like the skin of a new born.

Fear, A Friend To The Uncertain Mind.

Life sometimes gives you a reason to smile or other wise. It all depends on how we see it and take each life's struggles as it comes our way. Living in this world with lots of competition and hustling, it is sometimes hard to buckle up to the fast pace of the world. Truly, this scares me and create so much uncertainty and fear in me. In that I am scared of what I will become.
Then, I ask myself, why the sudden fear, doubt, terror, and uncertainty?
To my surprise, I found no answer within me not because my mind was blank or I was clueless but because I wasn't a child of uncertainty nor fear.
Fear is just a thing of the mind and once created, it can ruin you and create a weak monster within you and that is the first step of failure and defeat. My mom once told me that being afraid is nothing new because fear is inevitable but what's new is being enthralled by your fears. In my weakest thoughts, I dwell on those words and immediately, I am rescued from my sinking ship. Believe me or not, those words aren't just the magic but its what I do with myself and thoughts thereafter that makes the fight worth it.

Happy Sunday lovelies, hope your day was good overall or its going good? Because my is going smooth. Started my day with an homemade breakfast and it was heaven on earth that is because its been a while I had my own breakfast made due to my recent move to my own place from my dads. That aside, wanted to know how you all are doing and how your Sunday went.

Depending on your religion, hope some of you went to church, since today was Sunday? For me, I couldn't go because I stayed up until late last night and ended up waking up late, but that not withstanding and that shouldn't be an excuse I dwell on because the creator of heaven and earth never gives an excuse not to bless me or protect me even though He has a lot on his belt. With that being said, you all have a great week ahead and don't fail to visit the house of God next Sunday because I would. Excuses they say, are made for the weak and uncertain.

What Inspires You?

Inspiration is one powerful word that acts like a physical force that pushes people either to their goals or doom. We are inspired each and everyday as we encounter people or live our individual lives. They are various ways in which people can be inspired or in my own word, pushed.

Each day, we are faced with problems that are unending and tend to weigh us down but what keeps us going and inspired is the thought of that little 11 month old child trying to take his first steps because he is inspired with just the fact that his reward is that cookie sitting on the table top. That my friend, is a form of inspiration. Anything, I repeat anything can be a source of one's inspiration be it a still object, a crying baby, a movie, an old man, an animal, or a book, all of the above can be that thing that want to make you bring the best out of you at any given point in time.

As for me, I have become open to be inspired by anything on earth or flying up in the sky because I now see everything as either a challenge or they are made to unleash the beast in me. The more I look at things deeply, the less I am prone to undermining them and more eager like a hawk who sort after its prey until it finally gets it mission accomplished.

Movie Review: The Wedding Ringer

Okay, so I just saw the Wedding Ringer by Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting with my friend who I call munchkin. Lol

The movie was hilarious to the core and I swear Kevin Hart is truly funny. I wasn't a fan of him because I felt he did too much but the movie surely made me prove myself wrong as he brought the movie home and had a whipped cream and a vanilla ice toppings on it.  Lol
I need not tell you'll more, so not to give it all away until you'll go see it yourselves.

By the way, I saw my at Studio Movie Grill a theater in Dallas, Texas. Today, their service wasn't the best as they almost pissed me off but at the end of the night, I felt better because of the movie and the vibe I was feeling from Kevin Hart.

You'll should go see this movie and there will be no regrets afterwards.
