Food Food Food!!!
My love for food is endless no matter how it is made, where it is made, or what culture it belongs to. The word food mesmerizes and fills me before it is actually made or eaten.

This dish is very easy to cook and it's less time consuming. Because of its simplicity in nature I call it Whip and Go. lol... That is how easy it is to cook. It is sweet and at the same time spicy due to the eggs and what I used in frying it.

Sweet because I prefer sweet potatoes to Irish potatoes. I did pick sweet every day because sweet makes me happy and in turn affects my mood.

On the other hand, I love extra spicy food because it allows me eat without having to pique.

Due to the spicy nature of my food, my friends nicknamed me Spicy Drop…lol… Not sure if I should be thrilled by the name but I giggle when am being called because it reflects my kind of person

All in all, my food at a particular time of the day reflects my mood. The lunch I had today was quick and easy. That was how my day exactly went…easy breezy. Lol

Note: This blog post is for a class assignment.

  Reason Behind this Assignment

Writing this assignment was a no brainer for me because it is what I do each and every day which is cooking.
As a young lady, growing up in a traditional African home, I was taught by my mom to always be the one responsible for my own meals. According to her, there’s nothing sexier than a woman who can cook and keep her home in order. Knowing that gave me the reason to always want to cook and be better at it, at any given opportunity I get.
This assignment is so important to me because nowadays, you find young ladies who can’t boil rice not to talk of making a decent meal not only for themselves but for their significant other or friend as the case maybe. In my opinion, it is so sad and depressing because such girls’ windup becoming wives and moms who can’t cook homemade meals but rely on takeout food for a decent family dinner.
I feel as a young lady, cooking should be a know-how not a choice and there’s no excuse justifiable not knowing how to cook even as a working mother. They say, the way to a man’s heart is his stomach and so, a woman who can’t cook therefore loses a part of his man’s heart.
