So, this pasted week was my first week at the University of North Texas as a transfer student from my local community college in Dallas.
I am a Journalism Major with concentration in Broadcasting. I intend to be an entertainment reporter because I enjoy and love the entertainment industry, which I know I am going to be great at.
With this Spring semester being my first at UNT, I decided to take two classes, which is six credit hours, thereby not overwhelming myself and also, getting use to the system before taking a full time course load.
Hmmm..., let's get in details into my week... It was more of an exciting week rather than of exhaustion. Before transferring over to UNT, I thought I was going to be in for a big surprise and stressful first week because it is a much bigger school with twice or thrice the crowd of my previous community college. Thankfully, the reverse was the case as I sway into my first two classes as early as possible feeling determined and ready to kick ass. lol
So far, my professors have been great and the course work seems pretty reasonable and not tasking as I expected it to be. In terms of making friends, I have made a couple and I hope to make more reasonable ones as the semester progresses.
Anyway, that is that about my past week. One of fulfillment and determination. Hope each week continues to be rewarding and exciting as this one.
